In 2019, Régulo's microlot ranked fifth and Isabel ranked 20th in Cup Excellence in Costa Rica, making it the first micro lot from the Chirripo region in the top ten of COE. The farm is managed sustainably, focusing on reducing the carbon footprint in the environment: proper shade management to provide organic materials for the soil and keep the coffee trees fresh; using compost based on annual soil analysis; herbicides are used on specific plots with strong weeds; all water sources are protected and available from the farm.
