Overall Appearance and Geometric Design
The "Queen" wardrobe is a complete, built-in wall unit extending from floor to ceiling, designed to be an integral part of the room's interior architecture. This design features a clever and perfectly asymmetrical integration of three distinct storage styles: solid blocks, a transparent display case, and open shelving, creating a visual dynamism that breaks the monotony of traditional, single-pane walls.
Geometric Sections of the Facades
The wardrobe's facade is divided into precisely aligned vertical sections:
1. Side Sections (Solid Blocks)
Composition: The left section occupies an extended area with two doors, while the right section occupies a similar area, also with two doors.
Surfaces: These doors feature perfectly smooth, flat panels, devoid of any embellishments or protruding frames, providing concealed storage and a sense of visual tranquility and structural solidity.
2. Central Section (Transparent Display Case)
Geometric Framing: The wardrobe is centered around three elongated units covered by transparent glass doors. Each glass panel is enclosed within a slim, straight structural frame, creating a precisely defined rectangular grid.
Interior Division: Each unit is internally divided by horizontal lines consisting of upper and lower shelves, as well as cylindrical hanging rails, creating geometrically balanced spaces for display and storage.
3. The Open Vertical Column (Architectural Break)
Location and Design: Between the central glass section and the solid right-hand section, a narrow, fully open vertical column (without doors) stands out.
Square Grid: This column is divided into a series of square niches stacked on top of each other, providing a passive display space that breaks the continuity of the closed doors and adds three-dimensional depth to the facade.
Fine Details and Texture
Matte Wood Texture: The rear walls of the interior glass section, as well as the open vertical column, are covered with a textured finish featuring visible wood grain. This wood is finished in a completely matte finish, allowing it to absorb light perfectly without any reflections or distracting shine, creating a striking contrast between the solid, organic wood and the smooth glass and surrounding surfaces.
Linear Handles: The solid doors are fitted with ultra-thin, elongated metal handles that act as strong vertical anchors, drawing the eye upward and enhancing the sense of height within the cabinet.
Structural Lighting: Horizontal light strips are integrated beneath the shelves within the glass section. This lighting not only highlights the matte wood details but also acts as visual dividers, defining the horizontal layers of the architectural design.
