Squeeze the contents of the tube into a non-metallic bowl (plastic, glass, or porcelain), then add the developer liquid and mix the two components with a coloring brush until you get a uniform dye mixture. Please apply the mixture to your hair immediately after mixing for optimal coloring results. Step 2: Apply the hair dye. For the first coloring, apply the dye mixture to unwashed hair strand by strand using a coloring brush. Make sure no strands are missed. Then comb your hair with a wide-tooth comb for even distribution of the dye mixture. To color the roots, create sections in your hair and apply the dye mixture to the roots. Leave it on the hair to penetrate for 20 minutes, then comb the dye evenly through to the ends of your hair. Step 3: Processing time. The required time for the dye to process is 30 minutes—20 minutes for roots and an additional 10 minutes for the entire hair. The color of the dye mixture may change during processing.
