Dapoxetine may also be known as a "urinary tract" medicine. Dapoxetine increases the time it takes to ejaculate and can improve control over ejaculation. This may reduce frustration or anxiety about rapid ejaculation. Do not use Dapoxetine: If you are allergic to Dapoxetine or any other ingredients of this medicine If you have heart problems, such as heart failure or rhythm problems If you have a history of fainting If you have suffered from severe mania or depression in the past If you have moderate or severe liver problems If you are taking: Antidepressant medicines called "monoamine oxidase inhibitors" (MAOIs) Thioridazine used for schizophrenia Other antidepressant medicines Lindane L-tryptophan St. John’s Wort Tramadol Medicines used to treat migraines Precautions and warnings: Talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse before taking Dapoxetine if: You have not been diagnosed with rapid ejaculation You also have another sexual problem, such as erectile dysfunction You have a history of dizziness from low blood pressure If you use recreational drugs such as ecstasy, LSD, or other drugs or benzodiazepines You drink alcohol You have ever had mental health problems You have epilepsy You have a history of bleeding or clotting problems You have kidney problems You have or are at risk of high eye pressure (glaucoma) Possible side effects: Stop using the product and seek immediate medical care if you experience throat tightness or swelling of the eyes, face, lips, or tongue, or if you feel faint or have difficulty breathing. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The recommended dose is 30 mg. Your doctor may increase the dose to 60 mg. Take the medicine only 1 to 3 hours before expected sexual activity. How to store Dapoxetine: This medical product does not require special storage conditions. Keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiration date printed on the carton after EXP. The expiration date refers to the last day of that month. Do not dispose of medicines in wastewater or household waste.
