Ichthammol Black Ointment for Boils and Abscesses from One Care

Ichthammol Black Ointment for boils and abscesses from One Care is a classic veterinary product indispensable for any horse or cattle breeder. Its rich formula, derived from shale oil, acts as a mild antiseptic and is highly effective at drawing out pus and infection from under the skin and hooves.

Benefits of Ichthammol Ointment (Black Ointment)

• It is famous for its superior ability to draw out pus and foreign bodies from abscesses and boils, thus accelerating the natural bursting and cleaning process of the abscess.
• Treatment of hoof abscesses: It is considered the first option for treating hoof abscesses in horses; it is applied to moisturize the hoof and draw out the infection.
• Antiseptic and antibacterial: Contains properties that inhibit the growth of microbes, providing a clean environment that aids in tissue healing.
• Relief from itching and inflammation: Effective in treating chronic eczema, skin infections, and insect bites around the tail and ears.
• Safe and versatile: Suitable for horses, cows, sheep, and even pets.

indication:

• Treatment of boils and hardened skin abscesses.
• Treatment of hoof abscesses and plantar fasciitis.
• Reducing inflammation caused by eczema and psoriasis.
• Treatment of skin irritation caused by fly and tick bites.

Usage and dosage instructions:

• Clean the affected area thoroughly and dry it before use.
• Apply a thick layer of ointment to the affected area (especially in cases of abscesses).
• It is preferable to cover the area with a bandage (especially in hooves) to ensure that the ointment stays in place for a longer period and increases the "drawing" effect.
• Use once or twice daily until the abscess softens and its contents are released.

Safety guidelines:

• For virtual use only.
• Avoid using it on deep open wounds or severely damaged skin unless recommended by a doctor.
• Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.
