- The 10-watt solar panel uses a built-in charge controller to charge the internal 12-volt, 9-amp-hour lead-acid battery, providing enough power to operate your RECONYX camera indefinitely in most situations. For heavy-duty applications such as highway surveillance or other high-traffic areas, multiple units can be connected together to increase capacity.
- The SC10 solar charger will power many RECONYX cameras with an external power supply (not compatible with MicroFire series cameras). This is a great solution for powering the cellular-enabled HyperFire 2 camera!
- The innovative wedge-shaped design allows for maximum sun exposure. The unit can be mounted on a wall, pole, or tree using a screw or anchor bolt. It can also be positioned atop a metal T-post and rotated 360 degrees. The 12-foot (3.6-meter) shielded metal cable allows for flexibility in camera placement.
