The lens maintains a constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 across the entire zoom range, with the ability to adjust it from f/2.8 to f/22.

Fast and accurate autofocus

The lens is equipped with a Multi-Focus Stepping Motor autofocus system, giving you fast and smooth focusing, with performance suitable for photography and video recording.

Advanced visual design

The lens incorporates two ED elements and four Aspherical elements to help reduce optical aberrations and improve image clarity and detail.

It also combines ARNEO and Nano Crystal Coat to help reduce reflections and glare and maintain image quality in different lighting conditions.

The lens comes equipped with a programmable control ring whose function you can customize to suit your shooting style.

It also contains:

• OLED screen to display lens information and settings.
