Here are the steps to install IP surveillance cameras: Connect the camera to a nearby power source at the installation site. Connect the camera to the ADSL router using a network cable. The camera can be connected to a switch if there is a switch connected to the router. Insert the supplied cartridge into any computer connected to the network. Read the manual provided with the camera to find out its IP address. Open Internet Explorer and enter the camera’s IP address in the search engine; a camera control page will open. Enter static IP inside the camera. Configure the static IP within the camera. Use the CD provided with the camera to download the camera control software.
