Qibla board

The Qibla painting is one of the most famous paintings in the history of world art, painted by the Austrian artist Gustav Klimt between 1907 and 1908, and considered a crown for what is known as the "Golden Age" in his artistic career. The painting depicts a couple embracing on the edge of a flowering high place, their bodies wrapped in a single golden cloak that seems to melt them into one entity with no separation. The man leans his head to kiss the woman's cheek, and she closes her eyes in complete surrender with total peace. The golden background strips the scene of time and place, making it seem as if it occurs in an eternal moment outside the boundaries of reality. Dimensions of the painting: 60x40 cm.
