Product description: a topical antibiotic used in the treatment of skin infections sensitive to Staphylococcus aureus. Fucidin cream works by killing germs (bacteria) that cause infections. Fucidin cream is used to treat cases where the skin is infected with bacteria, such as: • Impetigo (swollen, crusted, raised patches of skin) • Infected dermatitis and spots • Wounds and infected cuts. It is mainly used to treat bacterial infections of the skin and hair follicles. Fucidin cream is used to treat impetigo, a skin infection caused by bacteria or wounds or scratches, especially in children, where this infection causes red ulcers, itching, or blisters that can rupture and bleed.
