A two-component, solvent-based epoxy coating modified with coal tar. Designed to provide high chemical resistance and long-term protection for concrete and metal surfaces exposed to harsh environmental conditions.

Used as a final protective layer in coating and waterproofing systems within industrial, marine, infrastructure, and engineering applications such as tanks, pipelines, wastewater plants, bridges, and other critical structural elements.

✨ General Description

GR–Epoxy Coal Tar T140 is a high-performance epoxy coating system formulated with coal tar to deliver exceptional resistance against corrosion caused by groundwater, seawater, and aggressive chemicals.

It can be applied in one or more layers to achieve the required film thickness and is also used as an anti-corrosion protective layer underneath vehicles and machinery.

⚙️ Application Method

1. Clean the substrate thoroughly from dust, rust, and oil residues.
2. Mix components at a ratio of 5 parts A : 1 part B.
3. Stir well until fully homogenized.
4. Apply using brush, roller, or airless spray.
5. Apply one or more coats depending on required film thickness.
6. Pot Life: 4–6 hours at 25°C.
7. Initial drying time: 12 hours.
8. Full drying time: 24–48 hours.
9. Dilution: 10–15% if necessary.
10. For optimal adhesion, it is recommended to apply over GR–Epoxy SB102 Primer.
