The story of the old caretaker

A brief about the book: a novel, the story of the old governess. After the death of her parents two weeks apart, young Rosamund is transferred, accompanied by her young governess Hester, to the manor belonging to the Fornival family, the child's relatives and remaining guardians. But the majestic mansion was not as the governess and the people’s legend had imagined; it had become a secluded building almost drowning in the nearby desolate forest, inhabited only by a handful of hardworking servants, the old child's mother’s aunt, and her elderly close friend... and a few ghosts haunting the present of its inhabitants, residing in an abandoned room and wandering around for decades. Now it was time to spread terror into the heart of the poor governess and to seduce her innocent child.
