Product description

About the book about the Arab House for Sciences - Nasheroon, published in Beirut, the poetic works of the poet and novelist Ibrahim Nasser Allah in three volumes including his collections issued between 1980, which he opened with his diwan "The Horses on the Outskirts of the City," and 2017, in which he issued the diwan "Love is Evil." During this extensive period, Nasser Allah's experience witnessed many transformations in his diverse aesthetic and intellectual choices, starting from the poem in its normal length, to the very short poem for which he dedicated four poetic works, passing through the lyric, epic poem, and reaching the operatic work. It is noticeable here that this experience benefited from narrative techniques, cinema, photography, painting, philosophy... and other artistic, intellectual, and existential pursuits. A number of prominent Arab critics discuss these aspects in their studies of this experience, which formed introductions to the three volumes written by critics from Palestine, Egypt, and Iraq. Dr. Ihsan Abbas writes in his introduction to the first volume: I surpass the limits of natural ambition if I claimed that I can write an accurate critical study of Ibrahim Nasser Allah's diwan; a study that pleases and satisfies readers, for Ibrahim has gone through many stages and has outlined a development in his poetry with a line that has continuity and turns, and such work requires precision in naming the stages and identifying the features of each stage. There is something lost that I am searching for but cannot find (now), which is the sufficient time to encompass this large diwan...
