Product description
This attempt is systematically based on observation and psycho-social analysis of lived phenomena. It falls within the framework of clinical social psychology, which studies psychosocial phenomena in a clinical manner, and it may raise some doubts about the certainty of its results, given that it does not rely on specific field or experimental research. It is certain that the aim of this attempt is not to reach final results, as that requires long-term research. What it aims for is to write a kind of introduction to the science of underdevelopment psychology, and its very rich contribution with results that complement social and economic studies of this phenomenon. The fundamental value of this attempt is to present a psychological methodology for studying the underdeveloped human being, with its various existential characteristics. This methodology clearly shows that this existence is cohesive in its phenomena despite its diversity and dispersion, and it is organized within a dynamic structure, which is the situation of the oppressed human being. This attempt, despite its shortcomings, aspires to open the way for field psychological research that seeks to understand the underdeveloped human being in terms of its nature, specificity, and condition, in a lively and realistic manner, to serve as the foundation of the science of underdevelopment. Only then can we finally put an end to imposing theoretical frameworks and objective explanations of the human of the industrialized world, which led to hasty generalizations that deviated from their cognitive purpose, due to the risk of concealing and erasing the true reality. This attempt will have achieved its goal if its findings can be transformed into practical hypotheses that enable field research with sufficient accuracy and depth to understand the reality of our Arab human being.
