About the book Amina looked at Catherine in astonishment: "And what is this Serent too?" Catherine smiled and said that the Serents are women, women, O Amina. And she quickly frowned while confirming that Amina must beware of them. Yes... Beware of listening to any songs you might hear in the air of midday or during the nights of the new moon! Amina did not understand anything of what Catherine was saying. The ground was trembling beneath her, what is this place? Who brought all these women here? What is this madness that Catherine is talking about? Could it be, O Amina, that this house is not real! Or perhaps all these are just ghosts wandering aimlessly in the open! Are she, Catherine, Lucy, Ophelia, and all the others just stories! What would happen if, in your normal life, you found yourself stepping into a different world? What would happen if a few walls fell and you crossed over eras? When does time slow down, and when does its speed increase, and when does it decide to gather its things and leave? Is there death? How do we create for ourselves a faith worthy of life? These are some of the questions posed by the story of Maryam, Amina, and Catherine in the novel "Musk of the Hill."
