Main technical specifications of pressure cookers

• Capacity: 5 liters.

• Material: High-quality stainless steel (18/10).

• Base: Aluminum capsule base to ensure even heat distribution.

• Compatibility: Works on gas, electric, ceramic, halogen, and induction cooktops.

Step-by-step operating guide

1. Prepare the pot

• Minimum liquid: Always add at least one cup (250 ml) of liquid (water, broth, etc.) to generate the necessary steam.

• Maximum fill:

• Regular foods: Do not fill the pot to more than two-thirds (2/3) of its capacity.

• Expandable foods: For ingredients that expand or foam (such as rice, legumes, or dried vegetables), do not fill the pot more than half (1/2) of its capacity.

• Pre-check: Make sure that the safety valve and the main pressure regulating valve on the lid are completely clean and unobstructed before closing the pot.

2. Close the lid

• Place the lid evenly on the edge of the pot.

• Align the upper locking handle with the lower handle supports.

• Press the main locking lever firmly and rotate it until it clicks into place and makes a "click" sound confirming that it is locked securely.

3. Increased blood pressure

• Place the pressure cooker on the stove and set the heat to a medium to high level.

• After a few minutes, the internal pressure indicator will rise, indicating the start of pressure formation.

• Once steam begins to come out regularly from the main control valve, reduce the heat to maintain a light, continuous hissing sound. Start calculating the cooking time required for your recipe at this point.

4. Safely release the pressure and open the pot.

• Never attempt to force open the lid as long as the internal pressure gauge remains in the high position.

• Natural pressure release: Turn off the stove and move the pot to a cool spot on the stovetop. Allow the pot to cool naturally for 15-20 minutes, until the pressure screw releases on its own.

• Rapid discharge: Carefully tilt or rotate the pressure regulating valve to release the steam, until the pressure drops completely and the locking pin falls off.
