Synulox 50mg/ml Palatable Drops have a wide range of bactericidal activity against bacteria commonly found in cats and dogs. It has been clinically proven to be effective in treating a wide range of diseases in cats and dogs. Each ml contains: 40mg of amoxicillin and 10mg of clavulanic acid. Synulox Palatable Drops are presented in a white powder bottle that needs to be reconstituted with 15ml of water before use. What is Synulox? Synulox is a prescription-only medication, prescribed by veterinarians to treat a variety of bacterial diseases in both dogs and cats. It has proven effective in treating cases such as soft tissue infections, skin diseases, gingivitis, urinary tract infections, upper and lower respiratory tract infections, and enteritis, which is inflammation of the lower intestines. For cases including skin infections and urinary tract infections, the dose is 0.25ml of the solution per 1kg of the animal's body weight twice daily. For stubborn cases that are difficult to treat, especially respiratory cases, there is evidence that doubling the dose to 0.5ml of the solution twice daily is more effective. Synulox palatable drops can also be safely used in pregnant and lactating animals.
