Troy Ear Canker Drops for ear treatment. Troy Ear Canker Drops are a topical treatment intended for use in the ear, aimed at helping treat ear ulcers (Ear Canker) and ear mites (Otodectes cynotis) in both dogs and cats. The drops contain antifungal properties that can help reduce the development of any mild infection in the ear. Intended for the treatment of ear ulcers and ear mites. In cases of severe or chronic infection, which can be distinguished by the presence of a foul smell or discharge from the ear, or excessive itching, or redness inside the ear, immediate veterinary assistance is recommended. Note: Ear mites are common in puppies and small cats and rarely affect adult animals, so an accurate veterinary diagnosis should be obtained before treatment. For cats and small kittens, the product should be used in very small amounts, as a large overdose may cause poisoning due to its Pyrethrin component. Method of administration: 2 to 4 drops are given in each affected ear, once or twice daily for a period of 5 to 7 days, or as directed by the veterinarian. When applying the drops, gently and quickly squeeze into the ear canal opening while directing the bottle downward. After administration, massage the outer ear canal to allow proper distribution of the substance.
