Step 1: Wear gloves. Relax some hair strands for testing. If the hair shows split ends or damage, do not use the product. Step 2: Wear gloves. Divide the hair into four sections. Apply a generous amount of straightening cream only to the new growth, avoiding the scalp and previously relaxed hair. Step 3: Start smoothing from the nape of the neck to the forehead. Coarse hair types do not require more than 15 minutes. Step 4: Rinse the hair thoroughly with warm water until all straightening cream is removed.
