Pearl Pack, the girl who never grows up

Overview of the book: Pearl Buck embodied in this novel the character of a distinguished lawyer, and she defended the case of a child from her flesh and blood representing hundreds of thousands of children born foolish, or affected by stupidity and mental retardation while in childhood, and they reach the age of men and women bodies, and their minds remain as they were the minds of children. The presence of a child from these foolish children in a house is – as the author rightly says – a test of the virtue of patience in a person.
