Endodontic Ruler

Endodontic Ruler هو مسطرة مخصصة للاستخدام في علاج جذور الأسنان، وتُستخدم لقياس طول الأدوات والمواد المستخدمة داخل القنوات الجذرية، مثل الـ K-Files والـ Reamers وGutta-Percha. تساعد على تحديد الطول العامل (Working Length) بدقة، وكذلك قياس وتحديد طول أقماع الجوتا بيركا قبل إدخالها إلى القناة.

Endodontic Ruler is a measuring instrument designed for endodontic procedures. It is used to measure the length of instruments and materials used inside root canals, such as K-Files, Reamers, and Gutta-Percha. It helps determine the working length accurately and allows the length of gutta-percha cones to be measured and adjusted before placement into the canal.

طريقة الاستخدام:

بعد الوصول إلى القناة الجذرية وتنظيفها، يتم إدخال الـ K-File داخل القناة إلى الطول المطلوب، ثم يتم تحديد الـ Working Length باستخدام الأشعة أو جهاز تحديد الذروة (Apex Locator) حسب الحالة. بعد تحديد الطول، يتم وضع الـ K-File على الـ Endodontic Ruler ومطابقة طرف الأداة مع تدريج المسطرة، ثم يتم ضبط الـ Rubber Stop على الطول المحدد. بعد ذلك يمكن استخدام نفس الطريقة لقياس الـ Gutta-Percha Cone والتأكد من وصوله إلى الطول العامل المناسب قبل الحشو. يجب التأكد من القياس بدقة وتجنب إدخال الأدوات أو المواد إلى ما بعد الذروة.

How to Use:

After accessing and cleaning the root canal, insert the K-File into the canal to the required length. The working length is then determined using radiographs or an apex locator, depending on the case. Once the working length has been established, place the K-File against the Endodontic Ruler, align the tip of the instrument with the appropriate measurement, and adjust the rubber stop to the determined working length. The same technique can be used to measure the Gutta-Percha Cone and confirm that it reaches the appropriate working length before obturation. Always verify the measurement carefully and avoid extending instruments or materials beyond the apical foramen.
