ردت قصة أصحاب القرية في سورة يس، والقرية هي أنطاكية، والدعاة المبشرون هم رسل عيسى عليه السلام؛ قال الله تعالى: ﴿ وَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ مَثَلًا أَصْحَابَ الْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَاءَهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ ﴾ [يس: 13]، خطاب للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بأن يتمثل بهؤلاء الرسل الذين أتوا هذه القرية للدعوة فيها، وهداية أهلها إلى التوحيد، فكان مصيرهم التكذيب
