About the painting

Whispers of a Heart, 2024 Is part of a collection of paintings i started in 2024, under the name "Slumber collection". Shapes and dynamic color palettes have captured my interest in 2024, a craving to experiment with the figure and compositions was what inspired most of my work.

In the soft embrace of slumber, figures lie draped across abstract forms of comfort, their figures cradled by shapes that swirl around them like whispers of dreams and new desires. Each brush stroke conveys a complex touch of emotions, where love starts to emerge as both a tender refuge and a daunting specter.

Capturing moments where joy and trepidation coexist, where reality and dreams blend. The interplay between the subject and their surroundings invites the viewer to witness an intimate private reverie.

This collection is an invitation to vulnerability and acceptance of an exhilaration mingled with fear.
