MARVEL MIDNIGHT UNIVERSE ASHCAN

The Marvel Midnight Universe Ashcan is a black-and-white preview comic book released by Marvel Comics to tease their upcoming horror-themed Midnight Universe publishing line

Unlettered Preview: The ashcan contains black-and-white, text-free (unlettered) interior art showcasing a creepy, nightmarish glimpse into three flagship titles launching on October 7, 2026:

• Midnight Spider-Man by Phillip Kennedy Johnson and ScieTronc (featuring a monstrous transformation for Peter Parker)
• Midnight Fantastic Four by Benjamin Percy and Kev Walker (exploring occult and dark mysteries)
• Midnight X-Men by Jonathan Hickman and Matteo Della Fonte (where mutants face grim horrors)

Vibe and Tone: It is designed to establish a dark, standalone, horror-driven alternative universe separate from the main Marvel continuity or the Ultimate Universe
