عدد نادر من مجلة "الجيل" المصرية الشهيرة، العدد 639، الصادر يوم الاثنين 23 مارس 1964م، بمقاس 21×29 سم وعدد 60 صفحة.
يتصدر الغلاف صورة الفنانة حكمت الديري بإطلالة أنيقة، ويحمل هذا العدد قيمة تاريخية خاصة إذ يوثّق نعي الأديب الكبير عباس محمود العقاد عبر إعلان تعزية من دار المعارف بمصر، بعد رحيله عن الأمة العربية بأيام قليلة فقط.
كما يضم عددًا من الموضوعات المتنوعة، أبرزها تحقيق استقصائي عن "طبق لحم صومالي" ووجه تليفزيوني في مطبخ وزارة التموين، وباب "عالم غريب" الذي يستعرض أخبار الأميرة عالية بنت الملك حسين، إضافة إلى تغطية اجتماعية بعنوان "فرح الموسم" حول زفاف الآنسة عفاف عبدالوهاب كبرى بنات الموسيقار محمد عبدالوهاب.

A rare original copy of the renowned Egyptian magazine "Al-Guil" (Al-Jeel), issue No. 639, dated Monday, March 23, 1964 — 21×29 cm, 60 pages.
The cover features actress Hikmat Al-Deiri in an elegant portrait. This issue holds special historical value as it documents the obituary of the great Arab literary figure Abbas Mahmoud Al-Aqqad, published as a memorial notice from Dar Al-Maaref just days after his passing.
It also includes a variety of features, most notably an investigative report on a "Somali meat dish" and a TV personality inside the Ministry of Supply's kitchen, the "Strange World" society column covering Princess Alia bint King Hussein, and a social feature titled "Wedding of the Season" on the marriage of Miss Afaf Abdel Wahab, eldest daughter of composer Mohamed Abdel Wahab.
An original copy in good condition, valuable as a press document and rare historical source from the 1960s.
