طريقة اللعب
- يقوم أحد اللاعبين بدور الشريف، بينما يلعب البقية دور التجار.
- يختار كل تاجر البضائع التي سيضعها داخل حقيبته، سواء كانت قانونية أو مهربة.
- يعلن التاجر محتويات حقيبته، وقد يكون صادقًا أو يكذب.
- يقرر الشريف من يسمح له بالمرور ومن يقوم بتفتيشه.
- بعد عدة جولات، يفوز التاجر الذي يجمع أكبر ثروة.

About the Game
Will you play by the rules... or smuggle contraband and outwit the Sheriff?
In Sheriff of Nottingham, players take on the roles of merchants trying to bring their goods into the bustling market of Nottingham, while one player serves as the Sheriff, deciding who passes freely and whose bag gets inspected. The catch? Every merchant may be telling the truth... or secretly hiding illegal goods inside their bag.
You'll need to negotiate, bluff, and strike deals to convince the Sheriff to let you through. But be careful—if the Sheriff inspects your bag and discovers you were telling the truth, they pay the penalty! On the other hand, if your contraband is uncovered, you'll pay a hefty price.
Sheriff of Nottingham combines bluffing, negotiation, and reading your opponents into one of the most entertaining social board games around. There isn't just one path to victory—it all depends on how convincingly you can outsmart everyone else.
How to Play
- One player becomes the Sheriff, while the others play as merchants.
- Each merchant chooses which goods to place in their bag, whether legal goods or contraband.
- Merchants declare the contents of their bags—they may be telling the truth or bluffing.
- The Sheriff decides who is allowed to pass and whose bag to inspect.
- After several rounds, the merchant with the greatest wealth wins.
